bhensonb (15760) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 9, 2007
Aroma is bready/biscuity with a suspicion of lemon. Hazy orangy gold color with a white head that just filmed. Medium bodied. Definite wheat malt. Some light lemon. The banana is truly hard to find. There’s a bit of citrus sour, and the finish has enough bitter to salvage the product. A big Bavarian banane it’s not. An American wheat it is.

djd07 (15544) - Houston, Texas, USA - SEP 8, 2007
Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small off white head. Not much on the nose but faint citrus. Decent lacing on this one. The taste is a lemon malt with a sweet finish. This was a strange hefeweizen from pyramid.

2.2
Ratman197 (15368) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - FEB 2, 2006
Bottle poured a cloudy gold with a lingering white head. Aromas of yeast, bread and a hint of clove. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, yeast and a bit of sourness with a smooth, clean finish.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 27, 2003
pours with a healthy light-tan head above the traditional cloudy golden/orange body. Aroma is mildly sweet wheat, spicy (clove), and light citrus. Taste is watery lemon, hint of yeast. Where's the banana?!

Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 9, 2009
12 ounce bottle. Pours a very hazy dark orange color with a large creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is wheat and bready malts. Very subtle clove and fruit notes. Taste is bready malts followed by subtle pear notes. Overall bland and weak. Medium bodied.

Doesn’t resemble a Hefeweizen in the least. The style needs to be changed here pronto.

2.6
BeerandBlues2 (13821) - Escondido, California, USA - DEC 21, 2007
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with an average, frothy, off-white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, grain, meal), light hops (grass), average yeast (dough, sweat) with notes of citrus, banana, and paper. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Short duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.
