Pours a beautiful Banana Colour and quite Opaque at that. Nice head but disappears quickly. Faint Aroma and the forthcoming Flavour was similiarly lacking. This brew tastes watered down with little to no character. Some Hefe Yeast kinda wants to show its presence as you force is down but its weak and faint. I should have spent my money on its brother the IPA. Oh well I will keep it in the Lawnmower beer section of the frige. Adios! nmoskop (79) - Arizona, USA - AUG 12, 2004
Of course a cold beer on a hot day here in AZ is a thing of beauty no matter what it is. This heff just didn’t measure up to others I’ve had. MontereyJimbo (79) - Monterey, California, USA - OCT 6, 2007
Are you kidding me? This heinous orange concoction states it is brewed from a "Bavarian-inspired recipe." Yeah, maybe a recipe for saurkraut but not for a wheat beer. Unfortunately I can’t find a domestic wheat beer fit to kiss the posterior of any Bavarian weizenbier and that’s a shame because I want to buy American. scottyg (79) - Gainesville, Florida, USA - AUG 30, 2003
A nice smooth wheat beer. Nice color. Yeasty, and a little sweet. The fact that it is unfiltered leave a cloud in your beer. MisterDenson (78) - Virginia, USA - MAY 11, 2012

12oz bottle chilled stem glass. Aroma all-spice warm apple pie. 1/4 inch head no lacing atop a bright golden colored ale. Very light taste of hints of spice and apple. High carbonation for a Hefeweizen finishes with a slight bite that was this beer’s biggest fault personally.

Good beer served with a slice of orange. Nice color. Pretty light......... chrisok (77) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - FEB 24, 2007
12 oz bottle. Pours golden orange and is cloudy as a hefe should be. Thin head which disappears quickly. Also noticed a great deal of bubbles. Aroma was of malt and citrus. Flavor was nice, yet unremarkable. Typical wheat, citrus, yeast flavor of many hefes. Finish was thin, somewhat watery, and crisp. beermanusa (77) - California, USA - FEB 22, 2012
Orange brew that poured flat. Smell was of honey. Taste was of a honey laden wheat with a heavy yeast aftertaste. Mouthfeel was reasonably full and lively with good carbonation. Overall this brew is average with perhaps a bit too much of a yeast follow-through. adamlau (76) - California, USA - DEC 23, 2001
A tinge of alcohol in the nose. Smooth start with a dirty, uncomplex front. Off tap, front is clean, nearly tasteless. Character not apparent until the relatively clean finish. Drinkable, but lacks the flavorful notes of an Edelweiss. Decent summer brew, but this is one of those beers that should really be had on tap. This rating is assuming a bottle tasting. A good 3.3 off tap.
