Pale amber and cloudy. No Head. No aroma. Very light fruitiness. Clean and hard malt profile and fizzy mouthfeel. Medium to light body. Notes of citrus and slight touch of bitterness in the finish.
pours with a healthy light-tan head above the traditional cloudy golden/orange body. Aroma is mildly sweet wheat, spicy (clove), and light citrus. Taste is watery lemon, hint of yeast. Where's the banana?!

Pours a beautiful Banana Colour and quite Opaque at that. Nice head but disappears quickly. Faint Aroma and the forthcoming Flavour was similiarly lacking. This brew tastes watered down with little to no character. Some Hefe Yeast kinda wants to show its presence as you force is down but its weak and faint. I should have spent my money on its brother the IPA. Oh well I will keep it in the Lawnmower beer section of the frige. Adios! bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - MAY 18, 2004
Bottle. Pleasant lightly citrus/wheat aroma. Cloudy pale amber color with a quickly disapearing head. Slightly sour citrus flavor. Some other fruits in the background, but it leaves a sour taste in the mouth. Just not what I’d like. There are better hefeweizens out there. This just doesn’t have any oomph. crzybob77 (530) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUL 18, 2004
Hazy golden brown with little head. Has all the usual flavors of a hefeweizen (citrus, lemon, spice) but nothing stands out here... everything is kinda bland. Nothing special here. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 18, 2001
I remember someone telling me that this was just an unfiltered version of the Wheaten Ale. That cannot be true, since that beer is quite good and this one is quite lifeless. Incarpathia (21) - Edmonds, Washington, USA - FEB 14, 2003
I tried this brew many years ago (or at least it seems like it) here in Seattle. I was rather disappointed in it's lack of flavor for a hefeweizen. Unforunately, it's served as the "go to" hefe around the Seattle area. Pyramid is capable of much better.
