Tap at the Sacramento venue. Pours hazy dark gold with a cramy wite head. Aromas of banana and spice. Thick body. Flavor is mostly wheat, a touch of citrus, and a hint of spice. Banana evaporated? Kind of a citrus mild sour finish. Wheat is strong. If this was barley based Id say bready.

On tap as a taster @ Pyramid. Aroma was bland of malt and wheat. Flavor included citrus and malt flavours. I am rating this from notes I took on paper.

Sample at Sacramento location. Pyramid calls this an Imperial Hefeweizen. Color is a light orange with a cloudy appearance. Aroma is light citrus notes. Flavor is a typical hefeweizen but with nice hop flavoring. Overall a very good and unique hefeweizen.

Tasted on tap at the Celebrator Anniversary Party on 2/14/2010. This dunkel weizen/Imperial Hefeweizen pours a very hazy orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is malty, banana and clove and sweet. A medium to full bodied hefe. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of banana and clove. Some wheat. Nice carbonation. Very smooth. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours a cloudy apricot color with a thin cream colored head. Bready and slight citrus nose. Bread and a too sweet wheat influence. Decent finish, but just too sweet overall.
