Draft - Sweet caramel malt with spice notes. Clear amber with thin but persistent head. Nice rich toasted malt flavor with spice. Good balance of bitterness. Not my style but good.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy amber with a slight beige head. Aroma of mildly roasted caramel with some rather grassy hop. Med body at least. Flavor is mild roast caramel with some fruit and grass. Finishes on the bitter side. Better than many.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with large frothy off white head that lasts awhile leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is caramel malt and toast. Thin mouthfeel with a light bitter roast and bitter finish. Not much going on with this one.

Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 18, 2012
Sample at the Seattle brewpub. This brew pours a slightly hazy reddish amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of caramel, malt and slight hops. Light to medium body with a sweet caramel malt character and a touch of grassy hops. The finish is short and malty. Slightly above average overall.

"Nice lookin rich amber color. Bready caramel with a hint of nuts and spice on the nose. Palate is smooth and goes well with the malty favors and hint of hop bitterness in the semi-sweet finish. "

Bottle. Mostly clear amber pour with a decent small frothy head. Some dusty caramel malts but the lager yeast is coming through pretty strong. Not a great beer.
