Tap. Dark golden copper color. Lots of hops in the aroma and malty flavor and body.

I really liked this beer -- very malty. It almost completely lacked any hoppy bitterness though. If you dont like bitter, youll love this beer.

Reddish body is closer to an English pale ale in looks although head formation is light. Initial citric hop aroma soon gives way to a little butterscotch which also comes through on the palate. A slight herb and grainy dryness makes a nice accompaniement while the finish shows some bubble gum and clove before the Cascades bite in at the back and just offer a nice but restrained citrus. Clean malt aftertaste. A Cascade infused English bitter?

Attractive light copper color with medium head. Aroma equally attractive, with floral accents. Flavor is sort of bi-polar--that is, one distinctively tastes the malt bottom and the assertive hop top end, but they seem quite separate, not blended or quite in total harmony. Finish is fairly dry but almost without taste. This doesnt quite fit the typical profile of either an English or American Pale, but for those favoring a hoppy balance, will satisfy in any category.

A good pale ale but pretty dry, not much of a bite at the end to keep you thirsty for more. It has a good flavor but it just leaves you hanging. No closure to this beer Id buy this beer again.

Update: Attractive red-copper color with thick foamy head. Buttery and citric aroma. Smooth, some caramel and nut flavors. Tingly hoppiness and surprisingly well balanced. Really an american amber?

Theyve corrected the line problems at the Pyramid, Berkeley. No more shoe or sourness. Still not much of a beer here. Not soft hopped enough to taste English and nowhere close to an APA in terms of brightness.

Good English style pale. A little more hopped than others of its style. Has a nice amber hue and subtle carmel flavor.
