[email protected] Alehouse. Pretty sweet., some lemony hops, a bit nutty, clean, bland, next.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2004 Pours a dark cloudy copper with an off-white head. Aroma is malty. Taste is citrusy with plenty of malt, decent amount of hops. Has an apple cider-ish taste that I didn’t really like. Mouthfeel is full and round. Not bad, not great either.

UNCCTF (588) - Cary, North Carolina, USA - JUN 9, 2004
Bottled. Poured a reddish-orange with little white head. Fruity aroma and a mildly hoppy flavor with fruity undertones. I picked up on some pine and banana during the tasting of this one. Good pale.

Nice amber color, small white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was hoppy and piney with a mild grapefruit coming through. The flavor was medium hoppy maybe a little less then that with a decent citrusy side and a mild pine like flavor towards the end.Not bad but definately nothing special, well worth trying agin though.

Pours a deep pink color with a very foamy lasting head. Looks great me thinks. Hoppy smell, very pleasant actually, I am looking forward to my first sip of this beer. Very nice mouthfeel, feels like a thousand women massaging my tongue. Taste is decent, very dry bitter aftertaste. This beer goes in stages on its course through my mouth and down my throat, starts out sweet, goes to bitter then finishes dry and clean, if that is a taste. Good stuff, would definately purchase this one again, and other pyramid beers. very nice

brownaler (742) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - APR 23, 2004
Amber red appearance with a quickly diminishing off-white head. Has a nutty taste in front with a hint of malt. The cascades appear in the back. Very drinkable and worth the 4.99 I paid for a sixer at Peace St. Market.

Padron4KM (810) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - APR 9, 2004
Pours a deep copper color with a thin head that vanishes almost as soon as it forms. Carmel malt nose, with some nuttieness and faint hops. Flavor was kind of sweet, (apple juice), with a nice hop finish.

SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - APR 1, 2004
Very competent ale. Up front nose of malt, benchmark copper coloring, full top-o-the-tongue cascade hop bitterness. My bottle tonight had a disappointing head that disappeared rapidly.

not really special. pours out a copper color with a thick white head. aroma is not bad, taste is ok. this isnt the best but by far not the worst either. my bottle said enjoy by 4/3/03 maybe that has something to do with it since you dont know how good of care the retail stores give to beers. goes down easy though.

AleDrinker (1089) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - FEB 25, 2004
This is just a standard pale ale. Got some malt character, some hop character, but nothing special really going on here. Nothing bad about it, but nothing good either. Unimpressed.
