Bottle:   Golden amber, fairly clear, light carbonation, fairly large off-white head, decent lacing.
Faint malty nose, a little cereal, make that a bit more cereal as it warms.   Slight tin on the
backside, otherwise a little metallic kapow.   Started okay, but the backside is a little rough.   Decent
malt base, body and mouthfeel are moderate.   When it was really cold I thought it would have gone great with
pizza, now thinking after it has warmed up that its not as good as I first thought.   Middle of the road that
could use a bit of work.   Pretty much what I would have expected for a Pyramid.   Non-offensive but not
top notch.   Meh... daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 5, 2010
Dark orange pour with a very light tan head. Aroma is sweet with some perfumey notes. No hops evident in the smell. Flavor has a slight hop tingle, honey, rose petals and ruby red grapefuit juice. Very different take on the style. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 5, 2010

Pour amber almost no head. This is a great full body amber beer,Lots of flavor, malt, hops and caramel A little bitter and very good. BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - OCT 8, 2009
Bottle: Rollick?! Ugh. Red color, earthy hops, light malt and a toasty finish. What more could I possibly say about a boring beer style made by a boring beer company known for generic micros? I prefer the costco stuff over this.

1/10/09 on draft at Gameworks, Seattle, Wa. Aroma is sour apple dmsforward followed by low noble hops, earthy, with light caramel. Appearance is clear gold with a well maintained white head. Flavor is sweet-sour malt blended with an earthy character forward and low bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a creamy feel and medium carb texture. Overall, the earthy character hurts drinkability. ROGUE (2216) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - AUG 27, 2009

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2009 12 oz bottle. Rollick is unique in that It’s an amber lager rather than an ale. I’ve had plenty of amber ales over the years, but this is the first amber lager I’ve had. I give props to Pyramid for creating this beer that is so much different than an amber ale, one of my least favorite American styles. Interesting, not great. Satisfying rather than mind-blowing. Addendum: beer loses its head towards the bottom. spiritsbeerman (47) - Nicholasville, Kentucky, USA - JUL 20, 2009
Ayery nice not too big ieer. Beautiful amber color followed with a well balanced malty and hoppiness. I enjoyed this beer right out of the bottle as well. A great spring beer. mcjay (463) - Neenah, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 9, 2009
