Bottle. Poured pale amber with a thick lasting white head, like a good lager should. Not quite dark enough to be a dark beer. Mild aroma of hops, and malt. Malty flavour, a tiny bit of herb. Pleasant but not great finish. Reid (2626) - Salem, Oregon, USA - JAN 31, 2009
Light amber/gold coloured beer. Large thick, creamy off white head.
Malty caramel aromas mainlly. Slight "whiff" of hop.
Malty but not sweet at all, rather semi-bitter flavour dominates, toasty slightly salty, with fruity undertones and hops at the back.
I liked the palate on this one, very enticing and easy, yet with enjoyable complexities.
I found this a very acceptable "amber lager". Quite tasty. Almost like a marzen with a wee bit too much hop. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 28, 2009
UPDATED: JAN 29, 2009 Bottle... Poured honey in tone with a thick white head that diminished to a nice thin layer on the surface. Typical lager, malty and grainy aroma. Light, crisp palate. A good balance of hops and malt with a touch of a caramel sweetness in the finish.
