Tap. Medium golden color. Hop aroma and a nice robust flavor that escalates on the palate. I thought this was among the best tap beers at the Berkeley Alehouse.

Medium body, was deep gold, good head and decent lacing. Malts were on the sweeter side and hops were very ’sharp’ and strong, but not "astonishing" as noted above.

Bitter like most IPA’s. I don’t like IPA’s in general, but this one was fairly good. Of course...I did have it straight from the tap at the Pyramid brewery.

very mild in the hop department, but very good malt-more like an english blended with an american ipa in feel and taste. not bad, but there are much better out there

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2006 Nice copper-amber color with a clingy-lacey head. Up front, mouthfeel is somewhat watery, but it quickly turns a little thicker and creamier. Malts, which are somewhat underplayed, are sweet and biscuity. Hop flavors are light, with grassy, hay-like notes. Hop aromas are perfumey and spicy, almost minty in a way. Hop bitterness is fairly heavy, with most of it presenting itself in the aftertaste (the high Columbus alpha acids give your tongue a little bitter snap). Overall not bad, but nothing really jumped out and excited my palate.

This is a solid IPA. Very hoppy. Classic American IPA style. A bit off balance though. It could be smoother. The aroma is great though.

Strong hoppy, cascade aroma. Bitter tea flavor with a slightly astringent fininsh. A good solid beer.

Dude, hoppy as hell. I am surprised that it is only 67IBU’s. The nose and taste were of fresh yard clippings...a hop lover’s dream. Well done.

Nice amber color, and a very hoppy aroma. Strong, very sharp hops flavor in the finish with a mild malty start. The aftertaste is a bit harsh, but it still tastes quite good.

Typical amber color, average head. I thought that this was surprisingly crisp and well-hopped, with some citrus flavor, especially grapefruit. Not bad at all.
