Dude, hoppy as hell. I am surprised that it is only 67IBU's. The nose and taste were of fresh yard clippings...a hop lover's dream. Well done. AcctError2896 (1077) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 19, 2003
This was a classy IPA. Not too bitter but great balance. Recommended...... Veldy (65) - Coon Rapids, Minnesota, USA - MAR 5, 2003
Very citrusy. There is a strong hop aroma, Columbus? Very good beer, but you must not try and drink it too cold. It is a little astringent and a bit over carbonated when cold. It is well balanced at normal serving temps. foduck (330) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 26, 2003
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2004 Surprisingly good. I wasn't impressed with their hefeweizen but this was great. Smelled like grapefruit in a flower garden. Tasted like it too. Some sweet fruitiness for balance. Good IPA!
Re-rate: A little overboard with the hoppiness. Reid (2589) - Salem, Oregon, USA - NOV 15, 2003
Ok comes in 12 oz brown stubbie..usual Pyramid label.
THis is one nice looking beer..nice slightly hazy orange colour with a large frothy pure white head..thennit shrinks but still leaves good lacing.
Nice fresh hoppy aroma..very spicy
MM nice smooth IPA yet still has plenty of hop "bite " at the end..very "zingy" indeed..I also detect a faint malt flavour
Most adventureous on the tongue.
Very drinkable IPA..I was surprised I had come to expect nothing much from Pyramid..this is the best beer of theirs I have tried so far..good brew.

MMMMM..Deliciosa!!! No me gustan las cosas amargas pero esta cerveza hace de su amargura una dulsura!!! Su apariencia es perfecta y es suave y fresca. Buenisima. unclemattie (4357) - Georgia, USA - AUG 11, 2006
Perfect lacing on the glass. light amber color. basic hop aroma, but that’s what I adore. hop bitterness monster. Great IPA. very bitter finish. JLAudio (282) - Crestwood, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2007
This is a quite good beer! Unexpectedly, this beer is bursting with hop aromas and flavors, yet is mellowed out with a wonderful combiniation of pale malts. This beer is a wonderful catch, and is abundant in my area, for only $7.99 six-pack. This is a better than good beer, with an even better pricetag. Could be as good as Dogfish Head 60 minute, if you are looking for pure hop pleasure! TheBeerLover (1027) - DC Metro Area, USA - JUL 27, 2007
Sampled this one on draught at the brewery in Seattle, WA. Pours to a bright, deep golden color, with a thick, creamy white head, and a good carbonation. This nose on this beer is zesty, with good piney and citrus aroma, with hints of biscuity malt aroma. The palate is firm, with good pale and biscut malt flavors, paired with hints of estery fruit, and citrus. This beer finishes with a nice piney and lemony hop bite that slightly lingers. Like with the Redhook Long Hammer, maybe not the boldest example, but a very respectable, very well made exaample of AIPA that delivers good hop character. Very drinkable beer, that goes well with the food on the menu at Pyramid, and good beer to enjoy before or after a Mariners or Sea Hawks game. I liked this one.
