Artifical plastic aroma and taste. Thin mouthfeel, aftertaste of dark fruits and plastic model airplanes.

Very dark ruby color with a tan head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with some hints of spice and caramel. Flavor is sweet and sour, with some grainy malt and fruityness. Has a dry finish.

Bottled. Mahogany colour, no head. Aroma of green apples. Sweet and very woody. Syrupy, clean, mouthfeel. Malty but mellow. The woodiness is nice, but it’s extremely one dimensional. There’s nothing under this kilt.

Dark amber color, off-white head. smooth and sweet, spice taste with some malty sweetness.

Cloudy deep brown/mahogany with a small tan head. Smell: caramels, sour milk, black cherry. Nothing special, or overly appealing. Taste: earthy and dirty, slightly unsweetened black cherry, bitter, and smokey, with a dry finish. Not really great, but drinkable.

Aroma is fruty, with lavender, grape, cherry notes, malty and a little sweet. Flavor is malty, with a bit of smokeyness, sweet, with caramel, maple. Smooth dry finish. A very nice brew. It won't amaze you, but it's a solid brew and one of the better scottish ales I've had.

Nice butterscotch and malt flavor, slightly sweet. This one really hit the spot.

I don't really care for scottish ales, but this one is pretty decent. It has a nice an clean finish.

Deep mahogony, with a thin fizzy biege head. Aroma is sweet and earthy. Smokey malts on the tongue, along with wood, hops, and earth. Overall it's a rather bland and boring beer. It's kind of fishy. There's nothing that really defines this beer. It's just very blah.

Have often felt this is one of the better beers from Pyramid. Has good flavor. Certainly more impressive beers out there, but this is still a very drinkable beer.
