Pretty hazy orange brown. plenty of yeasty globules. Smells of belgian yeast, apricots and pepper. Tastes pretty strongly like nutmeg. Briney and orangey as well. It’s good enough to get the rest of the wheat sampler in order to try it. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - JUL 22, 2012
WItbeer soaked in oak chips for the Firkin Fest.
Tasted from the firkin at the Triple Rock Firkin Fest on April 7, 2012. This wit beer pours a very hazy yellow gold color from the firkin. Small to no head. The aroma is cereal, fruity and sweet with a touch of oak. A medium bodied wit. The malts are fruity and sweet, bright and yeasty. The hops are earthy and herbal. Soft and round carbonation. Touch of orange juice and some wood. Very smooth tasting. Nice session ale and an interesting take on a traditionally non-barrel aged style. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

12 oz. bottle, EDT 7/21/12- Pours very hazy with a small head that immediately reduces to a collar. The aroma is wheat, orange and some spice. The taste is a straight up wit, it tastes a lot like Blue Moon actually, and that’s not a bad thing. Body is medium light, carbonation is medium. Simple summer brew. poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - AUG 30, 2012
12 oz bottle from the Wheat Beer Variety Pack. Expired on July 21, hopefull it’s still good. Pours cloudy yellow with a quickly disappearing white head; leaves a thin collar of foam. Aroma is wheaty, orange peel, barnyard--all a little too faint. Taste is wheaty, dry, grainy, thirst-quenching, simple. A nice clove flavor comes out as it warms. Highly carbonated with a medium body. Inoffessive and simple little chugger they made here. Great when mixed with blackberry wine! (Oregon’s Nehalem Bay Winery to be exact). ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 8, 2012
A - Pours a cloudy golden-yellow color with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of Belgian yeast, wheat, some banana, clove, pepper, and some lemon zest.
T - Starts off with some lemon zest with some sweet wheat. Through the middle some Belgian yeast comes through with some pepper and clove. The finish adds a bit of banana with some more pepper, some lemon zest, and some wheat.
M - Light bodied with moderate-plus carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet and lightly peppery finish.
D - Very drinkable. Very crisp and refreshing but a bit thin and could have used a bit more flavor.

Bottle. light golden beer with a whitish head. Wheat and light grain aroma with light spice. Grain and light spice flavor with wheat and light citrus. Medium bodied. Light citrus lingers with light spice, wheat, and malt. Wittales (762) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Appearance was cloudy pale gold with diminishing creamy white 1/2 finger head, no lacing. Aromas are wheat, orange, coriainder, and lemon and grapfruit yeasts. Taste where wheat upfront then lemony and orange shinning through with slight spices mixed in. Palate was crisp light CO2 with light-meduim body. The wheaty also most flat bubbles ruined the citrusy finish for me. More flavor and CO2 could fixed this Wit... 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 10, 2012
Bottle:   Pale straw, hazy, thin foamy white head, dies quickly leaving spotty lacing.   Wheaty nose, a bit mealy, with minor corriander.   Otherwise void of most of the brightness and spices of other examples.   A bit more spicy on the tongue, but not sharp.   Remains a bit wheaty, soft, with a little bit of a mealy background.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Certainly a wheaty finish, but any sort of bright spiciness has gone, leaving only a bit of mealy wheat flavors on the backside.   Not offensive, but very pedestrian in its spices.   Decent wheatiness, but very much needs to be sharper.   Decent for a hot summer (or spring) day, but needs to have its spices a bit more forefront. robforbes (2243) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - AUG 26, 2013
