The color is black, the head medium. It tastes mild, malty-sweet, a bit sweet-hoppy. In the aftertaste a bit roasty. Overall ok 10/8/8/10/11/10 rosenbergh (11799) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 13, 2012

Dark reddish brown colour with average to big fluffy tan head.
Mild aroma of malt and bread. Flavour is roasted malt, mild liquorice, mild coffee and mild hops. Balanced. Quite mild and simple flavour but still tasty. Could drink another one.

Bottle. Dark brown, cloudy, small and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and faint bread. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and some roasted malt. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, some roasted malt and light caramel, light salty minerality. Lightly sweetish schwarz with some roasted malt caramel - OK for schwarz, not too sweet. bierkoning (13687) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JAN 28, 2012

Bottled 500ml. -Dark brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, malty caramel nose. Light roasted malt, dry and almost vinous caramel and nutty taste with grainy bitter finish. Pretty average beer. ganache (6056) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 11, 2011
Bottle by 29.12.11 with a screw cap. Musty nose is very freshly hoppy, reminds of sticking my head into a fermenter after about two days of dry hopping. Dull brown pour with a tan head. Crisp and lightly acidity light-medium body with crisp carbonation up front and mellow cocoa aftertones. Roast malt and decent amount of spice, bitterness and sweetness are low. Focus is on the roast, which is a good thing. Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 4, 2011
bottle from biershop-bayern. Hazy deep brown colour, mid-sized, creamy off-white head. Roasetd malts, raisins, coffee. Rather light-bodied. Marko (6090) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - SEP 25, 2011
Heh, this is the most "normal" Pyraser beer I’ve run into so far (courtesy of ogivlado of course :)). Porued a dark brown murky body with a medium sized to big white head. Carroty malty nose, sweet & full. Soft, chalky. Chalky taste, beets dipped in honey. Ugh. The mouthfeel is very good, soft, but the carrot/beet notes destroy it in my opinion. Shame, would’ve been lovely otherwise. Ragnampiza (757) - Rome / Lecce, ITALY - AUG 5, 2011
50 cl bottle from "Il Regno di Gambrinus". Served into a pint glass. Pours a burnt caramel/dark brown with a gigantic off-white to light beige head. Not a powerful aroma at all, just notes of grain, some roasted malts and a very small hint of chocolate. The taste has again notes of roasted malts, and light caramel, but with a weird and unpleasent cardboard aftertaste. Watery texture, soft carbonation. I’m rating this one 3 just because I’m a Schwarzbier lover, otherwise a more appropriate rate will probably be 2.5. The best thing about this beer is the drinkability, which is excellent, otherwise this is an average and quite boring beer.
