Dark amber color; nice creamy head. Very nice fruity and hoppy aroma; malt. malty, a lot of caramel and good hops (really aromatic); very strong bitterness. By far their best beer! Excellent!

hazy dark amber colour, little foam, strong earthy and nutty aroma, good malt body and and mouthfeel, creamy, very long earthy and caramelish finish - strong character and very well-balanced; a fantastic surprise from Italy (thanks to fiulijn for this beer !)

This is an impressive red ale. It’s got nice, nice hops on the nose and tongue. It is, however, well-balanced and drinkable. Impressive outing for Q Beer.

Dorqui (2258) - Brescia, ITALY - JUL 26, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2007 Bottled 0,33L. Creamy and adherent head of good persistence. Reddish and orange color with discreet fizz and an elegant opaque aspect. Torrefy scent of cereals and singed malt. Discreetly dry taste with a pleasant and decided alcoholic content but not too excessive. Bitterish and coolness final.

Bottled: Rediish amber coloured. Hazy. Light brown dense head. Aroma of malts, cold earl grey tee and light alcohol. Flavour is light hopped, grassy and honeyish sweet. Has some caramelly notes. Ends on a sweet bitter note.

Slight malty nose, with pronounced notes of english tea. Reddish body, with a small off-white head. Quite hoppy flavor, with a slight malty touch, tea again.

An unclear orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of honey and spices. The flavor is slightly weak, but has notes of wood, honey, and spices, leading to a dry. Nice, but I’d like a bit more powerful flavor. Thanks Alex (fiulijn) for this one.

Draught @ Brew Pub, Q-Beer, Milan, Italy. Clear medium amber red color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (071107)

Fine though disappearing tan head, dark amber colored body. Nice and balanced aroma of malt, hop and nut with chocolate tones. Pretty thin flavor of rye with a hoppy bitterness and a dry end. All right, but not the most interesting, and could use some more body.
