Cask handpull at Market Porter, London. Russet with lasting beige head. Somewhere between a best bitter and an ESB. Some malty fruit, some peppery hop. Solid beer, decent quality. There is this sting at the top of the mouth as the hop overtakes the rich fruit malt that is very pleasing.
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Merchants Inn, Rugby. A brown, still looking beer. The aroma is sweetish and malty. The taste is similar and it is quite fruity, Hints of toffee. Lacks character. RPillsbury (115) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2008
Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival. This beer promised a spicy hops flavour but I could barely detect it. I thought it was just okay.
