Draft Farmhouse Tap and Grill. Orange color. Light to medium bodied with easy carbonation. Caramel malts, lots of toasted grain. Mouthfeel mildly sticky. Slight fruity flavor.Touch watery. Very slight apple note. Yes, it is the style.

Pours deep Amber into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to nothing. Caramel and vanilla aromas. Sweet caramel upfront turning to mildly bitter earth in the medium length finish.

This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a semi-hazy bronzed to ruddy golden brown color with a light transparency about it. Light carbonation rises nicely to fill a one finger white foamy head that dissipated eloquently (softly) leaving a fine running lace combing the sides of the glass. The smell had a really nice sweet to roasty nutty / semi-caramel flavor melding together. The taste copied the smell nicely with a superb caramel malty sweetness. There’s a slight lingering nutty aftertaste. There’s a quick dry sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Its fairly sessionable copying a nice sweetness laying down on my tongue. It somewhat has a dry feel to it. Overall, its a good Oktoberfest for the most part. I could have this again.

From 22oz bottle, poured into pilsner glass

Aroma: rich malts, slight bready, caramel, toasty, and maybe toffee? To be honest, I have no idea what toffee smells like

Appearance: amber/orange, clear, with nice tan head with good retention

Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter

Palate: medium to full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, slight bitter finish

Overall: It’s sweet at first, but has a nice dry finish. Lot of malts flavor going on here. There’s some bittereness, but with a clean hop taste that doesn’t distract from the malts. Very smooth, clean, and malt sweet. Really wish I had a bratwurst right now.
