Draft sample at Oktoberfest at The Shore Club in Tega Cay SC. Spice was just one component of this one, as it still had a bit of pepperiness and funkiness from the hops and saison yeast. Not my favorite pumpkin beer, but not bad. nearbeer (5521) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 29, 2015
Pint on tap at Tyler’s Durham. Hazy golden-orange with a lasting cream on top. Nose of light citrus zest and mild dose of pie spices with even a bit of earthy squash coming through. Flavor is similar with a nice restraint on the spices, but a little harder to spot the pumpkin in the taste. Light-medium body has a good balance and a pleasant, medium-high carbonation. chinchill (5172) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 15, 2014
On tap at 2013 Greenville Fall Fest (from notes).
Lots of pumpkin in the nose,
A bit too much spice, particularly clove and ginger, in the flavor.
Very complex: white pepper, orange pith, ginger, dried apricots, white bread.
Very wellj chosen carbonation level. Medium body. geologyguy (1632) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Slightly sweet and fruity with a touch of spice...hint of pumpkin...smooth and nice, great mix of hops and malt Malty_MacHops (688) - Eastanollee, Georgia, USA - NOV 15, 2013

Sample from growler at the Beers from the Bikes Villes tasting on 11/08/2013. The beer is a hazy reddish-orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes gradually. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast and pumpkin spices. Medium-bodied with flavors of fruity yeast, nutmeg and pumpkin pie. The finish is sweet with a spice and yeast aftertaste. Above average overall. Jamesthebrit (421) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 19, 2013
In a not so invested attempt at further securing my lead of Quest Brewing ratings...
On tap into pint glass
S: Smell is spicy, light, hint of pumpkin but definitely more focused on the saison portion being peppery and clovey.
A: Looks good. Hazy blood orange. Good head retention.
T: Taste is what I am looking for in a pumpkin beer. Very herbaceous. The beer itself goes down light but there is a lot of flavor and clove is there, but does not dominate. Peppery, a bit of pumpkin buttered popcorn flavor. Good balance.
P: Nice on the palate. Lots of flavor. Medium body, a little dull in the finish.
Overall this beer is good, and very good for the style. It is nothing special, but it does what a pumpkin beer should do better than others. Very easy to drink. Very well balanced. The first Quest beer that is above average. Worth checking out.
