ardeo (508) - Flémalle, BELGIUM - JAN 30, 2016
33 cl. Belle couleur rouge/brun. Mousse moyenne. Arômes de cerise et de vinaigre. Pas vraiment mon truc, ce type de bière mais il faut tout de même dire que après la surprise "en bouche", ce type de bière aigre se laisse tout de même boire... une fois ! :-)

Draft at Spit / Fire AROMA: boiled sweets, caramel, overripe berries APPEARANCE: brown, TASTE: lightly sour, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, PALATE: light body, sticky, average carbonation, OVERALL: first ok, but gets sickly sweet soon, not my cup of tea.

kermis (14478) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 12, 2015
Bottle shared. Pours dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of sweet cherries, tart dark fruit, apples, caramel and malt. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

deanso (10219) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - DEC 12, 2015
33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Thin ring off white head. Clear burgundy pour. A little sour. ok.

ChtiBreizh (456) - Rennes, FRANCE - OCT 29, 2015
I tasted severall oude bruin from this brewer and I am not sure I can really make a difference. This one is nearly as good as the Duchesse, although it might be somewhat more simple. There is no such glue note. Easier drink maybe.

Anthobeers (91) - - OCT 26, 2015

jjsint (3428) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2015
Bottle at Dikkenek Cafe, Lyon. Reddish brown, clear with a fair bit of visible carbonation. Soy sauce, turpentine and cedar aroma. Intense sour taste. However you may feel about sour bruins, you have to admire the way the best ones hang together. It’s an intense and focused experience, and an honour to make this beer’s acquaintance.

rdb84 (622) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 24, 2015
Cola pour, small head. A: reminds of Rodenbach, sour, oak note, alcohol, sour cherry. T: sweet Rodenbach like beer. Starts with sour cherry note, balsamic, basil. Gentle sour bitterness, bit peppery. Good balance. Fruity sour aftertaste, apples. Not bad, slightly sweeter version of Rodenbach.

lightly hazy gold with light corriander and Spicwy yeast esters on nose. Fluffy white head collapsing to bout, peppery, very high carbonation, touch of higher alcohols. Fairly simple but does a job
