Ruby un peu sombre, limpide, carbo moyenne, collet fuyant. Aromes cerise aigres. Un peu trop de sucre meme si cela contrebalance bien le cote aigre. Longueur moyenne, pinte dacidite sur la finale.

The original Queue de Charrue, since 1986, so the first of a series of beers commissioned by Vanuxeem. Bronze brown beer with thin head and a somewhat weird aroma combining caramelly sweetness with a kind of fruity tartness, metallic hints and something chemical; taste has cloying, candi-like sweetness along with sourness and nutty maltiness, rather thin. Disappointing, certainly for an oud bruin.

Een bruin bier moet normaal een goede, stevige smaak hebben, dat heeft deze niet.

Decent Vlaams Oud Bruin beer. Sourrish, with a taste of oaky malt. Always a nice style.
