F: big, off-pink, average retention. C: dark red, clear. A: huge artificial cherries, candy, cherries syrup. T: cherries, candy sugar, hint of citrus, alcohol is quite well hidden, it is like pure cherry candy and almost nothing more, medium body, low to medium carbonation, average, 0,33l bottle from Carrefour market – St. Michel @ Etterbeek, Brussels.

Bottle as a gift. Thanks! Clear red colour, white foam. Nose of sweet cherry candy, Amareno cherry, sugar, sweeteners, some tartness. Too sweet and candy-like beer.

BelgianBeerDrinker (5) - BELGIUM - FEB 8, 2017 does not count
A deep blood red beer with a creamy white head. Aroma is vibrant cherry. Taste is too rich, like chemical taste. I don’t know why the alcohol percentage is so high. Doesn’t add a thing on this beer. A Kriek Lambic is far more better.

Ysok02 (1553) - Mons, BELGIUM - OCT 21, 2016
Belle robe rubis, mousse crémeuse, peu persistante. Nez sur le bonbon anglais, la la cerise haribo, un coté chimique. Bouche assez banale, légèrement fruitée, courte sur une finale médicamenteuse. Sans intérêt.

minutemat (5471) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2016
330ml bottle from my Belgian father-in-law. Pours a deep blood red with a pinkish tinge to the creamy white head. Aroma is vibrant cherry. Taste is rich, flavoursome with a big cherry boiled sweet presence and a light tangy bite. Nice.

Helallison (19) - Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2016
33cl bottle in t’pannepotje, De Panne. Not sure it’s as bad as the other raters would suggest, but quite how a beer that is 14% cherry juice still manages an abv of 8.7% must mean it was pretty grim beforehand. Would also explain all the sugar and sweeteners. It actually tastes like a Dr Pepper alcopop, not that bad. At the risk of insulting my own gender - one for the ladies.

maekchu (3906) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAY 16, 2016
Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Cherry cough drop nose, very sweet. Deep reddish, and a medium-sized pink head. Cherries, but really over-sweet and artificial tasting. Mid gets harsh with the alcohol and perhaps some bittering. Final goes back to the sick, sweet cherry. Candy drink. Nah!

VDuquerroux (1681) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - JAN 17, 2016
Bottle, 33cL. Home. A red garnet opaque beer with a medium off-red head ; medium retention. Cherry syrup, candy, alcohol. Medium to heavy sweet, sugary, light dry, warming background. Medium body, average texture, sticky, average carbonation, fruity syrupy light dry finish. Overall, a 8.7% liquid candy ; definitely drinkable, but not my thing.

harrisoni (18576) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2015
Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Vivid clear red, lasting pink head. It’s like an alcopop. Kiddie sweet artificial cherry with a touch of chalk. Not good. Way way too sweet.
