COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It has been said by many brew masters, “water makes the beer.” We can’t help but agree. This refreshingly light lager is brewed with 25,000 year old iceberg water harvested from Newfoundland’s awe-inspiring icebergs which offer some of the purest water on earth. Incredibly crisp and refreshing light North American style lager. Winner of a bronze medal in the 2014 Canadian Brewing Awards ’North American Style -Premium Lager’

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2011 After becoming more beer aware, I now realize I was a bit to lenient on this product mainly because it was a local product. To be honest, it’s not as good as I thought it was the first time I reviewed it. I still like it much better than most of Quidi Vidi’s other products though. Aroma: slight smell of corn (meh), Pours light urine color witbh a quick evaporating head, slightly sweet taste with a tweet aftertase. Not too offensive, but not overly great either.

Sample at the source. Made with birthy bits, which is the most interesting thing about this beer. Clear yellow. Peppery aroma. Light lemon taste.

Tasting at SF, Vancouver
Pale blond color. Stale, cardboard, some glue, corn, sweetish. Very bad.

341ml bottle @ the office. Pours a slight hazy pale golden colour with a nearly no head. Nose bread and corn with a slight sour note. Flavour is not a pleasant example of a pale lager with an odd herbalness notes and cereal malt. Nothing special nor great.

355ml bottle at Brian's office. Pours a clear blonde with a weak head. Aroma is slightly sour with flowery notes. Similar taste. Not vsry good, but not very offencive.

Pale. No head. Some malt nose, not so bad. Sweet, not much hop. Ok, nothing super great. More or less clean, but it's ok. Nothing wrong with it, in the pale lager space.

341mL bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out cereal malts, bread, and corn. Flavour is like a typical skunky pale lager, with herbal notes, vegetables and cereal malt. Gimmicky beer - no different than a regular industrial lager. Shit.

Light refreshing but lacks strength and body for me. Interesting idea with iceberg water, 12,000 years old. Visited the brewery and tried many of their brews. They need a DIPA! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very good light larger and I do not like light larger so that says something. Crystal clear and refreshing with a nice malt finish.

Pours clear blonde, nearly no head. Smell is bit malty. Taste is bit malty, maltsyrup. Rather weak. Fresh, easy drinkable. Weak though. Ok .
