COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It has been said by many brew masters, “water makes the beer.” We can’t help but agree. This refreshingly light lager is brewed with 25,000 year old iceberg water harvested from Newfoundland’s awe-inspiring icebergs which offer some of the purest water on earth. Incredibly crisp and refreshing light North American style lager. Winner of a bronze medal in the 2014 Canadian Brewing Awards ’North American Style -Premium Lager’

33cl bottle via a friend. Thin creamy white head. Clear pale golden pour. Very malty aftertaste. An ok lager

Clear metallic golden beer; fine & dense white head. Dry malts/grains nose for an instant, then the ominous smell of rotting gras rises... lightstruck. First taste nothing but CO² fizziness, slightly sourish. Then dull grassy malts, again with sulphury decay notes. Very fizzy MF, and utterly empty. Why the Dickens did they need to ruin the icebergs’ purest water with just enough malt and hops to make catty lightstruck possible? Clear glass abomination. Thanks for hauling it in, nonetheless, Stef C!

[6628-20140815] Bottle. Straw yeasty plastic aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Straw cardboard flavour. Light body. Terrible but I’m glad to have tried it -- love the name. (4/2/3/2/8) 1.9

kraddel (9336) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - NOV 1, 2016
Pours clear blonde, nearly no head. Smell is bit malty. Taste is bit malty, maltsyrup. Rather weak. Fresh, easy drinkable. Weak though. Ok .

Bottle, shared by jercraigs CGBD 2014. Pretty well up there (or should I say down there?) with the worst of the macro Pale Lagers out there. Poured a pale light straw body with a minimal fizzy white head. Nose is cardboard, corn, straw, and maybe a touch of pale malt. The flavor is much the same, what little of it there is. Not convinced this is old, I just think the cardboard flavor is the natural taste of this. Light bodied and fizzy with a watery finish. Another awful Pale Lager, but it is a Province tick.

Boutip (6628) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 22, 2012
Bottle: Poured a super light yellow color lager with a medium size bubbly head with light retention and some light lacing. Carbonation is quite strong with a spritzer kind of feel. Aroma of light adjunct and bland taste is pretty boring. Taste is also quite bland with light gross adjunct notes. Body is very light with Sprite-like carbonation. I’m glad I finally got my tick for NFL but quite a bland beer at the end of the day.

reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 21, 2012
341ml clear bottle pours a pale straw color with a finger of white head that settles to some thin spotty lacing. Aroma is very mild cereal grains with a slight trace of hops. Taste is much of the same. A light body with abundant carbonation. A clean finish, which is not saying much as there is very little flavor. Below average macro style lager.

presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 19, 2008
Light lasting whit froth on plae gold. Almost no aroma. Sweet with a light grassy vegetable. A hint of alcohol at the finish may indicate that you don’t want it to warm up.

probstblueribbon (4088) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2015
341 ml bottle from a liquor store in Newfoundland via my parents, served cold in a small shaker glass. Faintly metallic with light grainy sweetness, a little bread, faintly sour, possibly a little skunk. Medium body, fairly full carbonation. Sweet grains, faint noble hops, still a touch...sour?; basically dry, low bitterness, slightly sweet, grainy finish. Beatty bottle and concept. Boring beer.

tomer (3846) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - JAN 9, 2018
at a tasting, thanks, smallish quickly dissapearing bubbly head, a touch pale yellow color, stinky mineral aroma, honey metalic flavor, coarse bitterness. Bad, the blue bottle does not save it.
