COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It has been said by many brew masters, “water makes the beer.” We can’t help but agree. This refreshingly light lager is brewed with 25,000 year old iceberg water harvested from Newfoundland’s awe-inspiring icebergs which offer some of the purest water on earth. Incredibly crisp and refreshing light North American style lager. Winner of a bronze medal in the 2014 Canadian Brewing Awards ’North American Style -Premium Lager’

Sample at Picaroon's Brewer's Bash. Just about the palest pale lager I've ever tried. Hardly any colour, aroma or taste, but it oddly works. Reminds me of putting snow in my mouth and letting it melt. I can see why people who favour strong stouts or IPAs would have no use for this beer, but it is bizarrely refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2014-08-15. Crisp pale yellow body with a small white head fades. Aroma is sweet, with an earthy mushroom like character. Flavour is sweetish, simple pale malt. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Pretty dull, but not terrible. Interesting to try. Bottle from NFLD via my parents

Pours a very clear yellow colour, with a medium foamy white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Smell is pretty much non-existant. Flavour is pretty corny and a little vegetabley. Cabonation is pretty much right on, but it’s a bit watery. Not much special about this beer, really.

MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 13, 2008
Bottle- Pours pale yellow from the clear bottle with a fizzy white cap. Nose of grains and weak yeast, pale malts and grassy hops. Tastes of sweet pale malts, straw, cooked veggies, some grassy hop bitterness. Thin and slightly sweet finish with a slight bitterness. Just ok.

Light lasting whit froth on plae gold. Almost no aroma. Sweet with a light grassy vegetable. A hint of alcohol at the finish may indicate that you don’t want it to warm up.

It’s an interesting idea and not bad for the style, but certainly isn’t something I’d rush to try.

341ml clear bottle pours a pale straw color with a finger of white head that settles to some thin spotty lacing. Aroma is very mild cereal grains with a slight trace of hops. Taste is much of the same. A light body with abundant carbonation. A clean finish, which is not saying much as there is very little flavor. Below average macro style lager.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2014 In bottle and on tap ... no aroma, a little crisp. Very easy drinking as a session beer but nothing special at all

Sampled on draught at the bar at St. John's International Airport. Served extremely cold in the North American tradition. A light golden colour with a white head. Highly carbonated with some grain aromas. The taste is of sweet malts with a hint of straw followed by a mixture of mild cardboard and bubblegum flavours. Quite clean tasting and refreshing but little depth to the flavour.

33cl bottle via a friend. Thin creamy white head. Clear pale golden pour. Very malty aftertaste. An ok lager
