Not overly sweet, but not much else wither. A watery caramel mess. A gift from Winchell on his trip to Argentina. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - JUL 20, 2009
Not bad, a little out of what I know as a Bock, but it’s not the first time I find a Bock like this in Latin america. It was nice and creamy, not too strong in taste and veyr nice head. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Seems like a malted, colored very low-quality pilsner. Not a big fan, love the country but not this beer. drpimento (3634) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 27, 2005
UPDATED: MAY 20, 2005 I brought this particular can of beer back with me a while ago. But it’s still clear and actually tastes better than I remember! Must be due to the alcohol. I was immediately impressed by the pronounced flavor upon my first sip. It’s a flavor that dissipates after a while though. Nice lace on the glass and a light lingering head. The color is that of a traditional brown ale. This beer is much better than I remember. I’d suggest for the patient to get a case and sock it away for a while, taking out a can or bottle once per month over a year or two. I bet it gets much better. Go Quilmes! I had orignially anticipated that the color was only from malt syrup added, but perhaps there is more going on here. Not bad, not bad....
