kwik-lime (2008) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2017
Bottle at Cau in Guildford. Low expectations given how awful their pale lager is but it’s actually fine. Light roasted malt and a bit of chocolate, hardly the sort of strong character you’d expect of the style but perfectly drinkable.

gunnfryd (15175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 19, 2007
Can. Red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, sweet. Flavour is sweet, caramel, malt, hop. Ordinary.

altacyr (144) - Campinas, BRAZIL - FEB 21, 2009
Aroma de malte. Coloração avermelhada, com espuma fina e clara. sabor que destaca também o malte, com amargor agradável. Superior às outras versões da popular cervejaria.

NosirIwont (2572) - Husum, DENMARK - FEB 7, 2011
Bottle. Pours a deep golden amber/brown with a beige head. Sweet cereal aroma with notes of molasses and a hint of vanilla. Cloying. Cooked vegetables and notes of chocolate as it warms. Flavour is sweetish and malty with citrus hops in the background. Feels a bit watery. Bitter malty finish. Lingering notes of citrus hops and a bit of liquorice. Gets better as it warms and flavour is way better than the aroma, as there are no cereal notes here. 06.02.11.

TBone (17987) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 27, 2014
Bottle 340ml (from Buenos Aires)
Dark copper-chestnut brown color, good cloudy off-white head. Light nose has hints of alcohol, rye and candy. Medium-bodied. Front is quite empty with some alcohol, but in the finish lots of toffee in the flavor, also some sweet licorice. Quite unclean impression.

asedzie (831) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 19, 2015
Bottle. Pours translucent ruby brown with small head. Nose is marginally interesting with some caramel notes and a bit of landfill, flavor is slightly sweet with a tang of poorly made candybar, finish is slightly chalky and has some cocoa-ish flavor. This tasted better at the asado after 3 bottles of wine had already been finished - maybe that’s its purpose?

ogivlado (7948) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 6, 2010
Bottled 970ml. -Dark amber coloured, medium sized pale beige head, caramel nose. Toasted malt, caramel and slight alcoholic with faint fruity notes (plums). Bit sweet but in comparison with Quilmes Cristal pleasant surprise.

SarkyNorthener (4764) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2015
Bottle shared thanks to s_hartshorne, cheers shane. Ruby beer with small head. Aroma of caramel and malts. Taste is brown bread and caramel. Very average.

solidfunk (9363) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Smells a little bad, taste is a bit fuller than Quilmes cristal and I guess that’s why I remember it being alright, but fresh off decent beer it doesn’t have much going for it. Slight hint of bitter, that’s it.

Not overly sweet, but not much else wither. A watery caramel mess. A gift from Winchell on his trip to Argentina.
