4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Great body for an amber ale. Not too malty or hoppy, very balanced. Definately one of the best amber ales ive ever had
bomber @ Liquor Barn / Danville KY --- Aroma of caramel malt and a hint of clove. Clear amber brown color, deep tan head that takes its time dropping to a full cover, sprays of lace. Taste is sweet caramel malt, medium carbonation, light bittering, and a continuation of malt in a long finish. Heavy malt, but quite agreeable. darbeer75 (925) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - FEB 14, 2016
Aroma: malty and sweet; Appearance: pours a dark, hazy amber with billowy head the dissipates slowly; Taste: also sweet and malty with slight bitterness to balance it out; better than expected; Palate: medium body with medium sweet finish; Overall: pretty decent, smooth drinking; might buy again. wombat23 (1621) - Texas, USA - FEB 14, 2016
Shared 25.3 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy medium-amber with a huge off-white head. Moderate lacing. Aroma of honey, sweet malts, and caramel. Taste is malt, caramel and has some citrus/floral notes. Nice and smooth finish. Moderately bitter. Good. Sdaniel90 (1086) - Mexico City, MEXICO - JUN 15, 2015

Egg shaped, 75cl bottle. Pours light copper color, creamy foam. Aroma of honey, caramel malts, toasted sugars, & earthy notes. Flavor is of toasted barley malts, pale malt syrup, earthy character, wooded hops, light citrus oils. Dry finish, creamy texture. Lingering flavors of toasted malt syrup (dry), pale grains, dry honey notes, and earthy hops. Very nice Amber Ale. (3954) jrodooo5 (1688) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - JAN 18, 2014
Thankfully I found this on clearance & didn’t pay regular the $14. DO NOT pay full $ for this! It’s about as standard as they come in terms of ambers & just dressed up in a fancy bottle. Has an ok sweet malt aroma. Pour is decent too - copper w/ a nice white head w/ good lacing. Taste is smooth but there’s not a whole lot going on. Has a little bit of an odd finish. Bottle. Nose is rich honey and stone fruit. Pours dark amber with a light, quick-dissipating head. On the tongue, it’s bready, floral, and bitter; comes off very English, like an ESB. Finishes long, dry, and toasty. Really enjoyable. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - AUG 8, 2013
Poured a very pleasant amber color with minimal head. Nose was nearly pure malt and this followed through in the mouth. A very nice beer.
