Icedwarf (1657) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2017
Geel bier met schuim. Smaak is fris zuur en licht bitter met iets van citrus en rode bessen. Best goed maar apart voor een witbier.

Pale not very hazy, minimal head, looks more like a Belgian blonde than wit. Fruity yeast aroma mostly ripe banana. Sweet blonde ale, with fruity yeast, little to no bitterness, doesn’t remind me of a wit. Bottom of the bottle gave the rest of the beer more haze but not much more flavor. Bland albeit refreshing.

Bottle @ Thomas W. thanks. Huge and lasting white head. Clear yellow color. Typical belgian aroma but also a bit unclean. Samll acidic taste and a bit undistinguished.

Many thanks for this beer to Eric De Geyter from Belgium’s Best. Organiczne piwo. Wiec zdrowe i niemodyfikowane składniki, butelka swing-top. Wyglad piwa jasno zolty, z niewielka piana i szybko opadajaca. Zapach cytryny i gruszki. W smaku ananas, cytryna i spora kwaskowosc limonki, mało slodowe, bez cukru i innych tych syfow. Smaczne, pijalne i orzezwiajace. Polecam do ryby zamiast białego wina.

Belle couleur dorée. Arômes subtiles aux notes de citron. Si l’accroche est très agréable, c’est dommage qu’elle ne reste absolument pas en bouche

JefVerstraete (3357) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - MAY 14, 2016
Bottle from LDW, Eke. Hazy golden colour, whie foam. Peppery, notes of citrus, light sweet. Well balanced and bitter witbier. One of the better ones in Belgium!

bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - APR 25, 2016
33cl [email protected], Geers. Bref: excellently dry crossover between wheat wit fruitiness and a peppery saison base with grassy hops. Arome of sweet lime and white pepper, the coriander broth smells natural enough, not soapy. Some slickness from the wheat, higher carbonation, not as creamy as your typical Blanche, but in league with Dupont in sessionability and clarity.

F: average, white, average retention. C: dark yellow to gold, hazy, opaque. A: wheat, hint of citrus, orange, coriander, cloves, yeast, hint of banana, bread. T: some sourness at the beginning from wheat, lemon, coriander, spicy, decent grassy bitterness on the palate, white bread, light to medium body, good carbonated, 0,33l bottle from Match supermarket in Brussels.
