Bottle - Light roast and some chocolate. Jet black brown with a light brown head, roasty notes again with a touch of chocolate. Not as interesting or rich as an oatmeal stout could be but OK. Borresteijn (7399) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 23, 2014
65cl Bottle brought from Canada, thank’s H&T! Black colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of cold coffee and cream, coffee creamer, roasted malts, hint of metal. Flavour is dry, cold coffee and cream, quite milky but without the sweetness, hint of chocolate, dry bitter finish, a bit fizzy. Light-bodied, watery. Not great. Wouldn’t classify this as a sweet stout though. XaenDovet (1282) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 22, 2014
On tap. Dark brown/ruby with no cap. Aroma of a bit of coffee, chocolate, and nuttiness. Taste is sour upfront, with sweet following. Low carbonation. Thin finish. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 1, 2013
Pours a very dark brown letting no light through and a big initial light brown head that quickly becomes a small ring. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, and a coffee & cream sweetness. Flavour is moderate lactic acid, roasted malts, coffee, and mild bitterness. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 1, 2013
Pours a dark black with a big frothy brown head that dissipates quickly and leaves tons of lace. Aroma of sweet creamy coffee, roasted malts, vanilla and rich chocolate. Taste is coffee, chocolate, vanilla and a bit of roasted malts. Flavor and body really thins out on the finish and this great smelling beer isn?t as good on the palate.

650ml brown bottle. Dark brown pour, near opaque. Beige creamy head with decent retention, modest lacing. Nose has roasted malt, coffee, bit of chocolate. Taste has light smoke, coffee, bitter chocolate. Some light roast and chocolate malt in the aftertaste. Medium body with average carbonation. Decently made stout. reebtogi (6341) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 18, 2012
650ml bottle pours almost black in color with a small light beige head that only leaves a small trace of lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted grains with hints of chocolate and hops. Taste is chocolate malty sweetness with some roasted grainy bitterness and a bit of hop bitterness as well. A little on the sweet side, but overall, this is a tasty stout and recommended for a sampling. wintyguy (69) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 26, 2012
Pours a thick impenetrable black molasses, cappuccino head, thin lacing. Lots of carbonation. Too much carbonation taking over the mouthfeel. Taste, the black malt, chocolate malt. Subtle bitterness balanced by the sweet malt, all masks the fact that its a 4.6% ABV which is nice. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2011
Bottle - consumed and rated in Dec 2008. Deep brown-black with a small tan head. Aroma and flavour both combine roasted malt, coffee, smoked barley and cocoa, with a moderately dry and slightly hoppy finish. Medium bodied with a nice level of carbonation. A decent and very easy to drink stout.
