Dark brown color, steady beige head. Very strong dark rye bready, malty nose. Medium-bodied. Chocolaty, raisins, portwine, lots of rye bread. Ageing has cut the alcohol, now even slightly portwinesh. Nice doppelbock.
Bottled. Best before 2006 (brewed for Easter 2006). If I remember correct this one is from Estate Wine. Deep amber colour with mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is spicy, sweet caramel malts, some mild oxidized notes, alcohol and dark dry fruits as well. Flavour is strong sweet malts, some mild portwinelike notes as well as some alcohol. Seems like this beer wasn’t that good fresh, but ’kin hell this has aged well. Ungstrup (38986) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2006
A deep red beer with a huge orange-brown head - due to heavy carbonation - a bit too much. The aroma is sweet combined with a slight acidity, and notes of barn yard and over ripe fruit. The flavor is also sweet with a combination of acidity, as well as notes of wood, hay, barn yard, caramel, and over ripe fruit, leading to a slightly acidic end. A very atypical Doppelbock - tastes more like a Biere de Garde. fonefan (52426) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 17, 2006

Bottle. Hazy red coloured with a huge beige head. Light acidic aroma of fruits, spices and caramel. Light acidic flavour with notes of fruits and spices. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 19, 2006
Bottled. Dark amber bock, with a huge, diminishing beige head. It has an aroma that is slightly burnt, and has caramel in it. The flavor is sweet, with caramel and burnt malt. Sweet finish. Lots of carbonation in the mouth, accomplishing some sticky sweetness. The alcohol in this brew is well hidden. (060518) Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2006
50 cl bottle. Reddish dark brown colour with a high carbonated head. Nice malty aroma with notes of light fruitness. Sweet flavour of malt, caramel and hints of chocolate. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2006
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy reddish brown with a beige head. Very heavily carbonated making the head stand tall. Fat, roasted malt aroma. Solid body with loads of roasted malt - almost sticky - and then a vaguely, burned, ashy edge. A very atypical Bock. 180506 joergen (29625) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2006
