English: This is brewed from an English inspiration using the traditional English hops, East Kent Goldings and Fuggles. This brown ale is stronger and has a more full body than normal. A small amount of hops was used and the malt flavor is allowed to be dominant, which makes this beer incredible suitable for use in food and especially for marinating meat, for use during cooking and in the sauce.

Copenhagen 2/5 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Drawings of a lot of corn on the label signalling that this is malty business. A little confused about the editors note saying this beer exists in 3,5 and 5,5 % versions as my bottle is saying 5,0 %. Hope I am not getting cheated of my 0,5 %. Pours hazy brown with off-white head settling as 0,5 cm layer. Sweetish aroma with notes of fermented fruit and chocolate. Medium carbonation. Taste is nicely balanced between fruity sweetness with notes of alcohol and a bitter aftertaste. Quite fine brown ale.
