Clear dark amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, keller, light earth. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap at Esbjerg Beerfestival. A clear, dark golden beer with a decent beige head. Bready, caramel nose with some butterscotch and roasted malts. Bready and buttery flavor too, some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Dry, medium body. A decent beer, but too buttery to ring my bells. There’s nothing impressive about it, but as I drink it, it gets better than initially. 091022 stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - JAN 20, 2010
