rarbring (2295) - Linköping, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2012
Aroma: Smelling of ripe apricots, honey, pine needles.
Appearance: The beer is clouded amber, has a large off-white head, good lacing but rather small curtains.
Taste: Tasting of sweet brown bread, then some tropical fruit juice, but dominating is citric peel and crushed seeds.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, slightly sticky and with a coarse dry finish. A big body.
Overall: Not bad, very IPA in my mind. And a bit out of season.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. Reviewed 2012-08-07.

(Bottle). Metallic aroma with notes of grassy, floral and fruity hops and malt. Distinct malty, and slightly grainy taste with notes of dry and grassy hops. In the aftertaste there is a distinct dry and slightly sour bitterness. OK, but too much grainy and dry malt in the taste!
