COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Et Raasted / Grassroots collaboration brew. Ja, hvorfor ikke? En black belgian barleywine. Ryan Witter Merithew og Martin Jensen testede bryganlgget og kunne proppe hele 374 kilo malt i gryden. En sort, frugtig distinkt belgisk smag med en god humlebitterhed og aroma. Hele 9,8 % alkohol sneg den sig op p. Cascade, Chinook og Simcoe til humling.

Draught at Bishops Arms Marina, Helsingborg. 23th September 2011.
Pours black with a heavy thick head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, burnt sugar, esters and belgian yeast. The taste is slightly lighter then the aroma with flavours of coffee, raisins, wood, nuts and caramel. Pretty rich with a long warming finish.

Tap @ Fairbar, Aarhus. Clear, nearly black deep brown body with a small, beige head. Fair lacing. Nose of roasted malts, caramel, citrus and floral hops. Sweet flavor of caramel, citrus, herbs, and notes of dark fruits + yeast. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. More dry and pleasant bitter finish. A quite excellent and interesting brew.

Tap @ Bishops Savoy Malm. Pours black with a great light brown lastng head leaving lace. Aroma is malty, sweet, alcohol, coffee, caramel, some chocolate and fruity. Flavor is fullbodied, very nice, like aroma. Finishes with a nice bitter sweet and coffee toned aftertaste.
