It has a large attractive and nougat colored foam, and the lovely aroma of wheat malt and light tones of coffee. The taste is rich and good of English licorice with some coffee in the similar. Mouth feeling is creamy and very full-bodied and leaves a pleasant light hoppy membrane in the mouth. Lovely wheat stout does not work too flashy. The alcohol is not tasted. Black with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, burnt, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is rather sweet and rather bitter. Smooth and soft with a bitter finish, where the alcohol warms the throat. Full bodied. How on earth is the wheat supposed to make it’s way through all the roasted and burnt malts? Doesn’t matter. This is a great imperial stout. 171009 anders37 (27577) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 1, 2010
