Bottle @ Københavnske Øldage 2006. Golden colour with a nice huge head. Aroma of pine and hops. Bitter and hoppy flavour.

Ungstrup (39528) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2006
An orange beer with a slight haze underneath a thin white head. The aroma is grassy and hoppy, while the flavor is very sweet - too sweet for my liking. After the first unslaught of sweetness the hops comes pounding both with notes of grass and straw - to me it is somewhat like chewing on hops.

Bottle. Clear yellow coloured with a huge head. Aroma of malts, caramel and hops. Flavour of malts, caramel, hops and pine needles.

[Bottled at Købehavnske Øldage] Pale golden, no head. Aroma of grass and citrus. Dry with dense, soft malt character. Concentrated flavours of orange, hay and malt, still very dry and nicely bitter. Unusual and very good.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a creamy, white head leaving some laces. Fresh, citrusy, hoppy nose. Medium body completetely dominated by the fresh grapefruitish aroma hops that also leave a distinct bitterness on my palate. 190506

Hazy golden color; fine perlage. Elegant hoppy aroma, the English hop doesn’t lie, with good malt sweetness and some vanilla. The malt profile just supports a powerful bitterness, that starts balanced and ends overwhelming; it’s a dry bitterness, with lots of hop oils (as different to resins for me); light smokeyness; a bit fruity; the final reminds the Italian herbal digestives, but without the syrupy sweetness. A palate killer. Very well brewed. Excellent.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2006 Bottled at Cph Beerfestival. Clear, golden IPA with no carbonation, and a dense, white head leaving nice lacings. Quite hoppy aroma and flavor, with floral tones, pine and grapefruit. Medium to thin body and a long hop-bitter finish. Not a beer I would drink often, but it is quite quaffable. (060519)

MiP (16134) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2006
Golden colour, small white head. Citric hop aroma. The flavour has an astringent bitterness which I do not care for after a while. Good mouthfeel.

Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2006
Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Unclear light golden - white head. Single malted (Marris Otter) and single hopped (First Gold). Malty, high hopped, cornfield, straw, grass, dry bitter hopped.
