English: Another beer inspired by the strong Belgian Ales. There has been used 5 different malts, corn, dark cane sugar, and a lot of dark candy sugar. Very lightly hopped with Tettnanger.

[email protected] Deep ambery brown colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is fruity, a bit yeasty and quite sweet caramel malty notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some dark fruits, and quite much plesant yeastyness. Excellent stuff.

50 cl bottle at Kjetils party at Bokn. Brown color, with fine beige head. Aroma is malty with spices and fruit. Flavor is sweet malty, fruit, hoppy bitterness and a hint of alcohol. Smooth, but a bit thin. Dry finish.

500ml bottle (Kittys, Helsinki)
Dark turbid brown. Very sweet fruity aroma - strawberry or raspberry. Sweet and slightly messy taste - some fruits still, but a touch sour and sludgy. Too much yeast in this. Some banana in there, and a bit blue cheesy. Covers the alcohol pretty well, but that is probably as there was half a ton of sugar in it. Altogether a mess, and I did not really want to finish it. Maybe should rerate, but pour it myself to avoid the unpleasant yeast. Not really seeing the connection to Belgium anywhere in this beer.

Bottle on 2008-11-21. Brown and very cloudy, almost porridge like. Medium sized brown head that contains little bubbles. Malts and chocolate in nose. Full bodied palate with medium carbonation. Lot of malts, chocolate, bitterness, little bit of salty liquorice and roastedness in taste. Long lasting aftertaste contaning lot of malts, some yeast and bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Murky deep brown color, very low tan head. Heady aroma with fruit and alcohol. Full flavor: dark fruit, spices, alcohol and more. Thick mouthfeel. Full body, low carbonation. Not a sessionable brew, but definitely worth a try.

(Bottled) Murky dark brown with a small, beige head. Very malty, xmas-spicy aroma with coffee and licorice. Licorice-malty, strongly spicy, smoothly sweetish-malty flavor with low bitterness. Alcohol is warming, but well hidden. Quite full-bodied, silky-smooth, soft carbonation. A christmasy, spicy, silky and pleasant winter warmer.

Had this at EBF Kobenhaven 12-09-08. Pours murky puddle brown in colour, nice and soft bubbliness in the mouth really quite Christmasy, with cloves, dried fruits, cinammon and actually all sorts going on. Not as spicy on the nose, alcohol starts to come through after a little while.

Bottled, thx to thewolf. Dark color, short head. Aroma of roasted malt, some caramel. Nice sweet roasted malty taste, slight fruity. Good balance. Not exploding in taste, but great stuff.
