Absolutely beautiful reddish-brown beer with a very nice light brown foam that slowly sinking, but retains a nice head. Nice malty aroma boosts expectations, as the flavor also contains some distress, coriander, chocolate and fruit. It has a fatty mouth feeling and great bulkiness. Sweet touch of caramel mixed with mild chocolate, slightly spicy flavor and a rich fruitiness. Hansen (8595) - Assentoft, DENMARK - OCT 30, 2005

Deep ambery brown colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is fruity, a bit yeasty and quite sweet caramel malty notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some dark fruits, and quite much plesant yeastyness. Excellent stuff.
Dark orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, dired fruit, light yeasty and spicy. Flavor is rather sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied. Very nice christmas brew. 141109

Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - AUG 22, 2006
(2005) 50 cl bottle. Yeast at the bottom. Very dark brown colour with a weak head. Lovely aroma of sweet malt, dried fruit, alcohol and hints of coffee. Very soft tasty flavour of complexity and chocolate. Stefano (2014) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2006

Bottled. Sweet raisin and hints of apple aroma. Cloudy/murky, reddish brown color, beige head, fair lace. Very sweet, light bitter, raisin, subtile spices, soft and sticky. Lovely beer in the style of mostly overspiced Belgian and Dutch Christmas/Winter ales. Thanks Papsoe. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2007
Fynske Øldage 2005, Odense. Dark brown with a red hue. The mouthfeel is oily and nice and the aroma is sweet and spicy. The flavour is sweetish, spicy with notes of roasted malt, nuts, weak hints of licorice and a very light bitterness in the finish. It has a nice full body, and I do not feel the alcohol in the flavour.
