English: Another beer inspired by the strong Belgian Ales. There has been used 5 different malts, corn, dark cane sugar, and a lot of dark candy sugar. Very lightly hopped with Tettnanger.

Bottle at home. Vintage 2010. The colour is very hazy reddish brown with a frothy medium off-white head. Aroma of dried fruit, leather, oak and some alcohol and heather. Much of the same in the flavour but feels sweeter with the addition of caramel, brown sugar and some chocolate. The mouthfeel is slick, and has a light bitterness. A rich and tasteful beer but is also surprisingly light in one way.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pretty subdued with caramel, some cloves and brown sugar. Solid, but nothing spectacular. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle. Aroma caramel sweet and of various dried fruits. Smells a bit like homebrew. Taste rich and full, of caramel and dark sugar. Sweet with little bitterness.

Christmas beer (which is also what the name litterally means) brewed in Belgium by a Danish brewery. Five malt types and two kinds of sugar have been used here. Off-white, coarse head, copper colour with brownish hue, clear. Aroma of toffee, caramel, cinnamon, kahlua, coriander, cider, pear, sage. Resinous palate, very caramelly with lots of overripe fruits, yeasty bitterishness, spicy accents, hoppy finish. Apparently also used as a component of a beer called Hoppy Christmas. Nice winter warmer, almost like a full barley wine.

Bottle (33cl). Hazy, golden brown colour. Finger-thick offwhite head, goo retention, some lacing. Aroma of malt, yeast, caramel, dried fig, spices, hint of vinegar. Medium body, soft carbonation. Semi-sweet malty taste, nicely balanced by a fruity acidity and mild bitterness.

Absolutely beautiful reddish-brown beer with a very nice light brown foam that slowly sinking, but retains a nice head. Nice malty aroma boosts expectations, as the flavor also contains some distress, coriander, chocolate and fruit. It has a fatty mouth feeling and great bulkiness. Sweet touch of caramel mixed with mild chocolate, slightly spicy flavor and a rich fruitiness.

A pretty good beer anyway but still difficult to understand. The smell is pretty good. The taste is not what I had imagined. But okay anyway. The aftertaste is thin and weak.
