Cherries? Hmmm! Perhaps.
But it does not taste like fresh cherries, more like candy-cherry. Perhaps it is just because it is too sweet.
A slightly tart note, but where is the trippel?
A bit disappointed. madsberg (11770) - Søborg, DENMARK - MAY 31, 2011
Drauht. Reddish coloured. White head with red gleam. Cherries dominating the aroma. Quite artificial. Berries, sweetness and spice in the flavour. Like the flavour better than the aroma. Meidum bodied. Sweet berries in the end. Pinball (12149) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 31, 2011

Unclear hazy medium red color with a average to small large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, wheat, vegetables, light light cherry notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, pickled cherry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, courtesy of saxo. It pours a red body, unclear, and topped by a pinkish white head. Cherry, almond notes and sugary fruityness on the nose. Slightly spiced, cinnamon and cloves I think. The flavor is slightly acidic, with cherry, almond hints, sugary sweetness and some yeasty notes. Full-bodied and sweetish, finishing sweet and cherryish. A quite nice cherry beer, leaving little room for the tripel. 110416
