330ml bottle pours a hazy brown color with floating yeast particles and a finger of beige head that leaves some decent lacing. Aroma is light roasted malts and smoke. Taste is malty sweet with hints of smoke and a mild floral hoppy bitterness. A nice smoked ale which I enjoyed as the smoke was not too overpowering more subtle. thb (829) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 16, 2011
Bottle. Lots of yeast caked on the inside of the lid. Pours deep red with clouds of yeast. It’s not often I come across a beer I actually don’t like the smell of. This one is one - smell promises sickly sweet sugary bock-esque malts, with a hint of smoke, and a hit of yeasty funk. Works much better in the mouth somehow, where it comes across as a much more straightforward sweet-malt driven thing. Smoke doesn’t make much impression, nor does any hops, really beyond a mild bitterness. Nickls (2535) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - APR 25, 2011
Tap ’10. Jet black with a big tan head. Some rustiness, bacon, smoke, and coffee in the aroma. Malty, smoky, but very straightforward with a touch of roast as well. Not bad, but not great. gramity (1668) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 1, 2011
This beer reminds me of a red-headed kid with freckles. It pours a hazy amber with flecks of yeast floating around. I wasn’t expecting the yeast or I might have poured differently. No head developed whatsoever.
There are aromas of bready malt with some caramel. There is a faint hint of floral hops buried under the more dominant toffee notes.
The taste is lead by sweet caramel malts that eventually give way to a little bit of smoke in the middle. The finish is floral and slightly bitter hops.
I tried and tried to isolate a distinct smoke flavor but had difficulty.
The body is light to medium with a moderate mouthfeel. Carbonation is low - probably too low.
This beer confuses me as it seems to be having an identity crisis. It was another mediocre beer from a very mediocre brewery. TimE (5817) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JAN 23, 2011
apples minerally, full bodied moderate bitterness. Kinda a full bodied English pale ale.

Cloudy amber, small beige head. Pleasant sweet malt nose and palate, no evidence of smokiness whatsoever Cole (967) - , Alberta, CANADA - NOV 15, 2010
Pours clear and amber with no head. Aroma is very malty with a lot of caramel. Flavour is malty with a tart smokey finish. I am not a fan of this one. It is more like an amber ale. Not much smoke. it is very dull in the flavour and non existant in the aroma. Not doing it for me. patricks110 (2495) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 19, 2010
A nice smoked beer. Smoky and malty, but very drinkable. Raasted seems to be a great up and coming microbrewer with the ability to brew tasty beers. This beer has a medium body with a couple fingers of beige head. Aroma is smoke up front with malts and nuts, caramel and grass behind. Very nice. Pours foamy lagerish glass, with translucent character of appearance and a tad of grey. Slightly smokey nose, not too impressive yet. Easy drinking, a little creamy mouthfeel, above average carbonation. Tasty understated smoke, good drinkability.Better than expected thanks Presario.
