ttoadee (1555) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 7, 2017
Deep bronze pour, thin tan head, scant lace. Nose is pine and malt. More bitter than sweet, but it is a tug if war. Middle opens with chewy caramel, a deep roasted malt backbone, some citrus and marmalade rolling around the edges. Finish is bittersweet and fairly long. Balanced beer for it's heft.

jhamp9 (1940) - Corinth, Texas, USA - SEP 2, 2017
Deep red copper pour with a dense cream colored pour. Sticky lacing. Aroma is pine, toast, and caramel. Taste is pine, grapefruit rind, burnt sugar, and toast. Lingering piney bitter aftertaste. Medium body.

I'm not normally a red fan but this was a damn good beer. It poured clean, tasted cleaner, and finished even cleaner. Another great one from rabbit hole ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

jzzbassman (1638) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 23, 2017
Bottle. Pours amber with small head. Very resinous hop profile in the nose and flavor, with not a lot of sweetness other than a touch of caramel with a full finish.

gephross100 (943) - Bellaire, Texas, USA - SEP 24, 2016
Brownish red color. Grassy centennial nose and flavor. Strong carbonation. Medium light mouthfeel. Not really an ipa as much as it’s a hoppy red

3.9
bratschepeter (63) - Abilene, Texas, USA - NOV 3, 2015
On tap at Brass Tap (Fort Worth). Dark reddish amber in hue with a creamy white head that leaves lots of sticky white lacing. Strong dank and resinous hops on the nose with notes of roasted malt. Taste is dark coffee and woody hops, plenty of malt on the back. The abv is somewhat noticeable thanks to a slightly thick mouthfeel. Very good.

3.9
kidmartinek (5001) - austin, Texas, USA - SEP 30, 2015
Deep, opaque reddish brown ale. Frothy beige head with large bubbles. Sticky, plentiful lace. Aroma of bitter but not spicy rye. Flavor is hard rye and hop resin. In a class of its own. Most Red IPAs are sweet and hoppy. This one has a unique malt profile.

3.7
travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 28, 2015
Growler. The look is beige colored, garnet red, and has a beige colored head. The smell is grassy, dank, fruit, hops, resin, and nice color. The taste is fruity, resin, grass, citrus, caramel, and nice.

Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - NOV 16, 2014
On tap at Craft and Growler. Very dark amber pour with a white head. The aroma has some floral hop notes and toffee malt. The flavor is similar, with some bitter grass and pine notes adding some bitterness to the toffee malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
