Looks almost like ruby red grapefruit juice when it pour: hazy, some white bubbles, with a pinkish body. Fruity berry nose, a little tart, light sweetness and biscuity malt. Very fruity sour cherry flavor that lives up to the beer’s name. It truly does taste a lot like a good jelly roll. gracefullypunk (667) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 12, 2010
Draft at Seattle International Beer Fest. Pours ruby grapefruit color with little head. Citrus, sugar, vinegar--a sweet tart aroma. Grapefruit, tart and sweet taste. KyotoLefty (10264) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 27, 2012
Draught at the Barrel House. Great raspberry nose, soft and wheaty. Light color of rose champagne, with lace. Lovely soft flavor—raspberry but not too much of anything. Very mellow palate, not sour. Soft and fruity. Great refreshment.

"People expecting another huge NW sour may come away disappointed, but this is more akin to a fruity Berliner than a sour ale. Light tartness, huge raspberry flavor and aroma, wheat, cereal. Very refreshing if simple."

Aroma of fresh raspberries and a hint of wheat perhaps. Pours a reddish orange color. Nice fresh tart raspberry flavors combine with a very light wheat malt. Tart quenching finish. Super fresh. Ron makes great fruit beer. tokyogoat (1503) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 7, 2010
Had a nice almost berlinerweisse quality to it, just a hint of tartness, not a hole lot of sweetness form the fruit which i appreciated. made for one of the most drinkable fruit beers i’ve ever had. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUL 22, 2010
Draft at Uber. Pours a cloudy pinkish amber with a loose off-white head that sticks around for a bit. Nice big floral raspberry nose, really a nice fresh fruit offering there. Not a lot of the wheat showing but there might be a bit of that tang in the background. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Fresh fruit shows all over the place, lots of nice fresh raspberry flavor that gives you that dusty summer wind overtone. Tartness is mild and restrained, could be from tons of wheat or could be from the ferment--as far as you can tell, it’s just an element of refreshment, not a dominant style choice. Clean tart finish that leaves you wanting more. Very refreshing warm weather beer.SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - AUG 8, 2010

Draft at the brewery. Cloudy light golden amber with a modest tan head. Nice floral raspberry notes, very fruity and natural smelling--no juice concentrate notes or any of that business you sometimes fear with session fruit beers. Creamy medium body with assertive, pleasant carb and a bit of pleasing grain on the tongue. Definite wheat, grain, and raspberry notes on the mid-palate. Refreshing, drinkable, clean, and straightforward. You can drink this one as fast as you want, or as long as you want, but probably not both. Nice stuff.
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy pink with a white head. Rich raspberry aroma. The flavor ha s a nice, tangy organic berry flavor and just a touch of wheat character. Not really intense in the fruit flavor, but very refreshing and drinkable. Nice and dry in the finish. a great tangy and drinkable fruit beer. I should have expected that even a normal fruit beer is going to be pretty good coming from these guys, soured or not. Homer321 (5072) - Melboring, Florida, USA - JUL 30, 2013
Draft at barrelhouse. Sweet fruity nose. Sparkling finish. Not much wheat character. But wonderful raspberry expression.
