Wow just like old times. I have a rate that is right next to Jake65. Pretty cool anyhow. On tap at Raccoon Lodge Portland, Pours out a light straw topped with a thin white head. Aroma was of light floral hops and a little sweetness. Taste was more of the light floral hops and some caramell malts.

Tap at Raccoon Lodge: Light golden colored pour with a small white head. Aroma is mild of malty sweet and floral hops. Flavor is sweet into a grassier/floral malt trainwreck. Pass.

Draft at Raccoon Lodge. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a sweetish malty hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty and slightly hoppy flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a sweetish fruity malty finish.

On tap at Raccoon Lodge. Pours clear gold with a very lacy white head. Light body and light carbonation. Aroma of fruit and wood. Taste of bread and fruit with an almost crisp finish. Not a lot going on here for an APA.

bhensonb (15838) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 20, 2007
Draft at the brewpub. Light malt and hop aroma. Amber golden color with a lacing white head. Medium body with mild carbonation. Floral hop over pale malt for flavor. Mildly bitter finish with floral notes, and perhaps a little wood. Excellent session ale.

Skyview (6099) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 13, 2007
Sampled on tap at the brewery during ABA Beer Tour ’07. Pours a clear golden pale yellow brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a white ring. Aroma of light piney citrus hops and light caramel malt. Taste is smooth, lightly carbonated, medium bodied with a good balance of bread dough and citrus taste. Finish has a light hop citrus bitterness that lingers around after the finish. Reading some of the earlier ratings, looks like the brewmaster has took notice and improved this pale ale.

A light colored brew with a full flavor. This was a nice beer but not my favorite. I was hoping for more. This was a simple easy to drink beer. The PBR crowd would love this.

harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JAN 3, 2006
Watered down, zesty herbal notes and some medicinal something or other going on here too. This is a really big disappointment. Left me asking where did it go?

Tap at Horsebrass. Pale amber to golden colored, sparse white head. Pissy aroma and flavor. Sadly disappointing, certainly nowhere near an APA in character, this would even struggle if classified as a mild. Even the description is hideous, sounding like a BMC ripoff, talking about slow brewed. I would rather have a slow brewed glass of water.
