From a 22-oz bottle--Poured a bright golden-amber body with a small whitish head. Lots of lacing in glass. Nose of sour lactic and grainy malts. Crisp and sweet. Couldn’t drink too much of this one. Lots of infection. Quite Belgian, but on purpose? hotstuff (5257) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 2, 2008
Bottle at Raccoon Lodge & Brewpub, Portland, OR. Small white head that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, transparent, fast rising carbonation, and a golden hue. Nose was malty, hoppy, sweet, and a hint of caramel. Flavor was hoppy, citrus, malty, and semi-sweet. Tingly mouthfeel and medium body. Nothing outstanding or special was observed during this rating. Not a brew that was exciting to drink as it was rather a ho-hum beer IMO. thedm (6319) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 6, 2007
This bottled brew from the brew pub poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a typically carbonated light yellow-orange colored body. The aroma was malty sweet and mild hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a bubbly aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and floral. Was hard for us to finish the bottle. Skyview (6099) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 13, 2007
Sampled on tap at the brewery during ABA Beer Tour ’07. Pours a clear golden amber brew with a a creamy white head with excellent retention. Aroma of caramel malt, flowery hops and a strong sense of sweet candy sugar. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied, with a good balance of some sweet citrus hop and malt flavors. Finish has a honey smooth sweetness with a slight bitter aftertaste.
