On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clouded, golden-orange colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is sweeter caramels and bready malts with some fruity esters, clove, a light pepper, and some citruses. Flavor is similar. On the sweeter side, but not overly so. Caramels and bread with some citrus notes and fruity esters, clove, and a light peppery yeast spice. Finishes smooth, malty, and sweet with a light peppery bitterness as well as some fruit notes. Lengthy aftertaste following a fuller, smooth body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a sweeter Belgian Ale, but well balanced and pretty easy drinking for the size. Nice beer.
