COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From tap at Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival 2017. A amber coloured beer with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, grass, hay, fruit and bitterness.

Bottle @ home. Past its BB date. Copper colored liquid with a medium beige and stable head, nice lacing. Aroma is malty with toffee, red fruits, nuts, estery pears, milk chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, malty with caramel, nuts, fruits, some roasted malt. Finish is dry with a somewhat astringent bitterness.

jaghana (6308) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - DEC 8, 2016
Bottle 33cl, a copper amber beer with huge creamy head and very good retention. Nose is on toasted caramel, toasted grain, seems astringent with the nose. Taste is more sweet and fruity than german altbier, finish is astringent. Aroma on toasted caramel, oxidized notes,

Bottle. Fruity/berry, some green apple and bubblegum, way too estery for a Alt. Pretty red Amber, offwhite lace. Foamy dry mouthfeel. Raw cocoa nibs, dust, buttery hops. Not a Alt, not sure what to call it.

2.5
SinH4 (6399) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - AUG 3, 2016
Bottle from my EuroSanta Nisse666, many thanks! Amber-brown-orange color with eggshell head. Aroma is malty, nutty, caramel, a bit earthy hops, estery. Taste is the same, quite a dusty dry finish that is weirdly bitter. Mouthfeel is dusty as well. The yeast is too Belgian for an Alt, and the beer is not particularly good.

3.3
Nische (2568) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 5, 2016
Pours clear amber with small white head. Malty aroma and taste with some grass, hay, caramel, nuts, slightly roasted. Nice with some grilled chicken but quite boring on it’s own.

murran (691) - - MAY 21, 2016
Pours an amber body with a medium head. Faint hoppy aroma. Taste is off balance and rather flat with hoppy tones.
