Bottle at home. Almost black with thick light brown head, looks promising! Quite some roast with light ash and licorice. Sweet malts, light bread crust, fresh dank and grassy hops. Quite some grapefruit too. It's quite toasty bitter and dry with light sweetness. Medium bodied with dry finish and bit fizzy carbonation. Good classic black IPA but maybe slightly too dry in the finish. jesperhammer (4947) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 6, 2017

Black with a lasting, tan head.
Aroma is roast and hops.
Taste is grape fruit, roast, coffee, caramel, pine. Very very bitter, dry, medium+ body. Not a perfect balance between roast and hops. More to the hoppy and bitter side but still a quite impressive drink.
Bottle from Systembolaget Olskroken, Göteborg. Sampled on June 8, 2017. Cunningham (8459) - Halden, NORWAY - APR 9, 2017
Black color with some brown shining through, tan to light brown nice head, plenty of lacing. Hoppy, citrus, malty scent. Bitter, hoppy, pith, husky, harsh taste. Harsh, dry, bitter, alcohol aftertaste. Medium big a bit smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness.
Not only is the bitterness higher than I personally want, it feels accentuated by being husky and harsh.
Coal black color with a fine thick beige head. Nice lacing. Looks great and inviting. Good intensity in the aroma with a fine hop profile. Medium + body and a smooth carbonation leve. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Long lasting flavor and a semi dry ending. Coffee, roast, grapefruit hoppy, pine and fruity flavor. Solid stuff! Bottle sample at Uppsala B&W. Black with tan head. Aroma has liquorice, roasted notes, tar and slight leather along with mainly piney hops. Taste is similar, liquorice and pine dominates, citrus, grapefruit and light caramel is there aswell.

Bardzo solidna black IPA! beer-yum (1906) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 20, 2017
Big aroma with fruit, malt, and vanilla in a jet black pour. Hop forward balance with a similar body of fruity malt and vanilla. Finish is much the same - with a hint of alcohol. A definitely different BIPA - but in a good way. Berra (40) - Varberg, SWEDEN - FEB 11, 2017
Svart IPA är sprungit upp till favorit tack Mzaar. Detta var väl dock inte den bästa jag smakat!! CloakedDagger (2876) - - FEB 9, 2017
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear black with a pretty burgundu hue and a creamy and lacing light brown head. Some licorice in the nose, hops not overwhelming. Medium body, roast, cough syrup but everything is a bit messy and doesn’t really blend in making it not terribly pleasant. Aroma hops never seem to gain any terrain, the beer is indeed bitter but never really more than that. 090217 Svesse (8830) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 8, 2017
(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 8 Oct 2016) Black colour with frothy, pale beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of coffee, roasted malt, resin and citrus peel. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, coffee, roasted malt, resin, grapefruit and a generous citric, piney bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced black IPA. Nice one.
