Weinig hoppig aroma. Smaak is licht hoppig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

In Bielefeld ein Radeberger, na gut. Optisch astreines Gold, stabiler Schaum. In der Nase Heu. Im Trunk Maische, sehr bitter. Auch im Abgang eigentlich nur bitter. Industriebier halt.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Diabobale (504) - Vallata, SUD ITALIA, ITALY - MAR 30, 2017
Corpo esile, carbonazione spinta. Al gusto note di pane ed erbacee. Secca, senza un lungo retrogusto.

0.5l can from a supermarket. Starts with big creamy head, which is quite persistent so I had enough time to taste it: mostly bitter with a bit of softening bread. Aroma is nice, fairly complex, has everything a pilsener needs, bread, grass, some spices. Taste is balanced and complex, bittersweet. Strong dry hops, moderate maltiness, some bread, some spices. Carbonation is moderate-to-strong, mouthfeel is fresh and creamy. Aftertaste is dominated by dry bitterness, maybe this is where the milder Czech Pilseners are typically slightly better. But this is still an amazingly well balanced and refreshing beer. A favourite for me.

Ulubiony pilsner mojego ojca. Bez rewelacji.
