UPDATED: APR 25, 2013 On tap at the Radeberger Spezialausschank in Dresden. Not particularly amazed, it felt like a much better version of a Radeberger, but not much more than that.

On tap @ Bent Elbow – Taps a cloudy pale gold with a massive bone white cap in the authentic Zwikelbier glassware. Has a nice tutonic lager nose- bready, light woodiness some grassiness – flavour is solid craft lager – sold bredy malt spine with woody-musty tones from the nobles and a drying finish with a bready lemon-honey type finish – classic Zwickel and a really deeply satisfying lager

Draft. Hazed gold. This is delicoius stuff, wasn’t anticipating the quality. Nice zippy, bready, refreshing.

Half pint draft at EPCOT for Food and Wine. Fairly earthy and lightly bitter landbier. Enjoyable and refreshing plus another zwickel tick!

Cloudy yellow gold poured into a 0.5L stein at Schmidts in San Francisco. Refreshing and light, yet earthy. Nice effervescence and extremely drinkable. Perfect for a summer day!

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2017 Draft half liter at the Queen Anne Beerhall. Cloudy golden pour with a rocky foam head. Corny grain aroma. Flavor is earthy. Expected qualities with the earthy hop quality added in. Late cream palate. Some dirt. Nothing was great for me with this one. I guess it is what it is. UPDATE: Retry month 2017. Damn is this refreshing after a couple ball games. Much more pleasant this go around. Flavorful and refreshing. Solid.

Densely sedimented, bit of rockiness in the head. Earthy, yeasty nose. Similar palate with a moderate bitterness.

Taps slightly hazy solar yellow with a thin porcelain head. Aroma presents acceptable malt and fruity notes. Flavor delivers these plus hints of honey and hops. Mouthfeel offers decent fizz and body. Prost!

mateuszk (2670) - Poznań, POLAND - FEB 9, 2016
Draught in Radeberger pub in Dresden. Pours yellow, hazy with great white head. Aroma is malty, bready with herbal touch. In taste medium sweet, lightly citrusy or acidic, solid herbal bitterness in the finish. Very nice beer. In comparison to normal Radeberger it is less crisp, more sweet.
